Tica is an educator who has built her career around creating learning spaces where children feel seen, capable, and inspired. Her journey has taken her from classrooms in New York to international schools in Mexico and Costa Rica, where she taught across early childhood and elementary levels and gained extensive experience with the IB Primary Years Programme. Throughout her career, Tica has moved fluidly between roles — classroom teacher, curriculum developer, admissions specialist, and diversity and inclusion coordinator — each one strengthening her belief that education must honor the whole child.

Her Montessori Assistance-to-Infancy training has shaped her understanding of child development, supporting her commitment to fostering independence, curiosity, and purposeful learning from the earliest years. Her Orton-Gillingham training deepened her expertise in literacy development and equipped her with research-based tools to support early readers and students with learning differences. Fluent in English, French, Haitian Creole, and Spanish, she connects naturally with families from diverse backgrounds. Tica’s work is grounded in strong academics, community, and a dedication to creating environments where every child — and every family — feels a genuine sense of belonging.

Ellie is an educator with over ten years of experience championing literacy and language across different contexts. She approaches her work with a belief that every student deserves the tools to express themselves and tell their story. Originally from Michigan, Ellie received her Masters in Curriculum and Instruction and spent ten years in Portland, Oregon as an English teacher, curriculum coach, and language specialist.

She has a background in theater and a passion for bringing creativity, storytelling, and play into educational settings. Ellie now serves as the Secondary English Language Coordinator at an international school in Mexico City where she is building a language program that supports both rigor and belonging. With recent training in structured literacy and Orton-Gillingham techniques, Ellie is now equipped and excited to bridge her experience with multilingual students with the foundational needs of early readers and ensure that literacy builds confidence and access for every child.

Nick is a certified teacher and a private educator from Chicago that currently works at The American School Foundation, in Mexico City. Having received a B.S. alongside a M.Ed. in Education, Nick brings a wealth of experience that comes from professional training during his 10 year career as a teacher, alongside 15 years of private education experience as a tutor and consultant. Using a combination of research-based strategies and teaching methods built throughout his career, Nick offers a personalized approach specific to each student and family. Nick has worked with students from elementary school to high school, in a variety of subject matters, and he prides himself in his adaptability that lets him cater services to best help each learner.

Nick strives to improve student’s confidence, comfortability, and success working in mathematics. Mathematics is unique because a student’s self-perception strongly influences their relationship in learning throughout their time in school. He works to improve students’ image of themselves as math learners, while simultaneously building academic skills and relevant executive functioning skills. Nick uses a combination of teaching strategies, alongside Orton-Gillingham techniques, to provide personalized mathematics support in a comfortable, safe space for students - a place where it is fun to do math!

Anna is a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in cognitive-linguistic rehabilitation and executive function coaching. With a background in neuroscience, she has always been fascinated by the unique ways the brain supports learning, communication, and daily life. Her experience in medical settings has allowed her to blend science and creativity, partnering with patients and families to develop individualized solutions to complex cognitive challenges. Her expertise in executive function assessment and intervention has led her to facilitate workshops, develop executive function group curricula, and present to school professionals on supporting students with cognitive and executive function needs. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, hiking, and going to the movies—popcorn is a must.

Research consistently shows that cognitive rehabilitation and executive function intervention are most effective when therapy is personalized, meaningful, and embedded in everyday life. Anna’s practice combines patient-centered care with evidence-based approaches to address the real-world challenges that children and families face. She integrates principles of motor learning, metacognition, and family coaching into every treatment plan, empowering children to develop effective strategies that generalize beyond the therapy room and support lasting independence.
